Get Rhythm! Programs - Community Drum Circles

Get Rhythm in the Community

Come Share Your Creative Spirit!

Community Drum Circles are "jam sessions" which include participants from all walks of life. There is little instruction, only basic hand drumming skills are covered for first timers.

Warm up and drum circle games happen for the first 30 minutes.

Then, the magic happens. For the next 90 minutes, the drum circle learns how to make music with itself through listening, cooperation and releasing inhibitions. Professional facilitator, John Scalici guides the group through an upbeat, energizing journey in rhythm and sound, created completely in-the-moment.
No two drum circle experiences are ever the same.

Other instruments from around the world are used to create the rhythmical orchestra including shakers, rattles, flutes, finger cymbals, bells, etc.

No prior experience is necessary!
